Production and physicochemical properties of safflower seed
Oil extraction from safflower seed by motor driven screw press (expeller). Before the seed was pressed, the heading temperature of the press was adjusted to 60 0 C and the

Temperature mediated extraction of oil from safflower
Safflower seeds of variety PBNS-12 were collected from College of Agriculture, Indore, India. Hexane was obtained from Merck, India.Taylor & Francis Online
Temperature mediated extraction of oil from safflower seeds: modelling
The optimized parameters were obtained as 3 g for the amount of seeds, 30 min for extraction process, 30 ml for volume of hexane and 45 C temperature after applying RSM. The predicted oil percentage was obtained as 31.968% by second order polynomial equation while the estimated oil percentage was 50.12% for the optimum parameters.

Different plant sources of polyunsaturated fatty acids Vegetable oil is significantly involved in body fat, mainly obtained from seeds and in some cases from fruits such as olive oil
A comprehensive characterisation of safflower oil for its potential
Recently, Aydeniz, G ne艧er, and Y谋lmaz (2014) evaluated the 伪-tocopherol content in safflower oil using different cold press techniques, they found highest contents of 伪 -tocopherol (502.12 mg/kg) in roasted safflower oil, whereas microwave extraction technique resulted in decreased contents up to 366.24 mg/kg. Y.-C. Lee, Oh, et al. (2004) evaluated the effect of different roasting
Extraction of safflower seed oil by supercritical CO2
Supercritical CO 2 (SC-CO 2) extraction has been an excellent alternative method for seed oil extraction to replace conventional industrial methods. SC-CO 2
Extraction of safflower seed oil by supercritical CO2
From the slope of the straight part of the curves, we can obtain approximately the solubility of the oil contained in the safflower seeds, which yields nearly 4.9 g of oil/kg CO 2 at 308 K and 28 MPa. From 5 to 7 kg of CO 2 used, a decrease of extraction rate is observed.
